Duties

• Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience
• Take accurate orders using POS system Toast, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation in accordance with food safety regulations
• Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Process cash and credit card transactions efficiently, handling cash handling duties with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons
• Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with food preparation or cleaning as needed to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems; previous experience with beverage service including spirits and wine knowledge is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Culinary experience or food industry background preferred; familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices essential
• Knowledge of cocktail mixing, beverage service techniques, and spirits experience beneficial for upselling opportunities
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
