Job Overview

We are looking for friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Waitstaff/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our restaurant, providing exceptional service that makes every guest feel welcome and valued. Your main focus will be delivering a memorable dining experience through attentive service, accurate order taking, and efficient beverage and food delivery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or host/hostess duties as needed.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout the guest experience.
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and desserts to enhance sales opportunities.
• Process cash transactions accurately and handle credit card payments using POS systems like OpenTable or other restaurant software.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations by bussing and resetting tables efficiently.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Assist with beverage preparation including cocktail mixing, wine service, and spirits knowledge to elevate the guest experience.
• Support team members during busy hours by managing multiple tables, coordinating with kitchen staff, and ensuring timely service.
• Engage with guests to foster positive relations, answer questions about menu items including food preparation or wine pairings, and provide personalized recommendations.

Experience

• Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing.
• Strong knowledge of beverage service including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink presentation techniques.
• Experience in upselling menu items to increase sales while maintaining guest satisfaction.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally.
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in order taking and delivery.
• Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 35.0 per week
