Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
• Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Process cash transactions, credit card payments, and handle POS systems with precision while maintaining accountability for cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including setting up stations or cleaning work areas

Experience

• Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse needs gracefully
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service to elevate guest experiences
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service
• Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
• Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting
