Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and have clear communication with kitchen staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately, including handling tips and processing sales transactions
• Assist with setting up tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a tidy environment
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of menu offerings and to educate guests and enhance their experience

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and resolve issues promptly
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of beverage service including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktail preparation, and drink presentation
• Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing payments accurately, and calculating bills or tips
