Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms
• Support kitchen staff by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food delivery during busy periods

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest rapport and handle diverse situations professionally
• Culinary experience or understanding of food preparation and presentation standards
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume shifts
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and billing purposes accurately
• Previous experience as a host/hostess or server in a hospitality setting is advantageous

Pay: $2.50 - $5.50 per hour
