Job SummaryWe are looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable Diner Server to provide welcoming service and great experiences for our guests. You will be the face of our diner—taking orders accurately, serving hot food and drinks with a smile, and keeping our dining room running smoothly during fast-paced shifts.Key Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Present menus, explain daily specials, and make confident menu recommendations.
• Take food and drink orders accurately and enter them into the POS (point-of-sale) system.
• Deliver meals and beverages to tables in a timely manner and check back to ensure satisfaction.
• Pre-bus tables by removing dirty dishes, glassware, and silverware as guests finish.
• Process guest payments (cash, credit, or gift cards) quickly and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of stations, tables, floor areas, and condiment caddies throughout the shift.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen cooks, bussers, and other team members to keep service flowing.

Skills & Qualifications

• Customer service mindset: Patient, upbeat, and able to handle a bustling diner environment with a positive attitude.
• Communication skills: Clear speaking voice and active listening skills to get orders right.
• Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple tables, drink refills, and guest requests at the same time.
• Basic math: Comfortable handling cash, making change, and splitting checks.
• Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for long shifts.
• Experience: Previous serving experience in a diner, cafe, or high-volume restaurant is preferred, though a great attitude matters just as much.

Pay: From $7.25 per hour
