Waitstaff/Server

Overview

Bring energy and attentive hospitality to every shift as a Waitstaff/Server. You’ll guide guests through the menu, coordinate food and beverage service, and keep each table welcoming and well cared for. Your impact: Accurate, thoughtful service helps guests enjoy their meals and gives the restaurant team a smooth, coordinated service flow.

Duties

• Welcome guests, answer menu questions, and provide friendly customer service and guest relations throughout the visit.
• Take and enter orders using point-of-sale (POS) systems, such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; process sales transactions and cash payments accurately.
• Serve food and beverages, including cocktails, wine, and spirits; use menu knowledge and appropriate upselling to support guest choices.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams, assist with bussing and table readiness, and follow food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Manage multiple tables, communicate special requests, and use time management and basic math to maintain accurate orders and checks.

Qualifications

• Essential: Customer service, hospitality, serving, beverage or drink service, cash handling, cashiering, basic math, and attention to food safety and sanitation.
• Relevant experience may include restaurant, food service, food industry, fine dining, nightclub, guest services, host/hostess, kitchen, food preparation, or culinary work.
• Preferred: Familiarity with OpenTable, Aloha POS, Micros POS, or other POS platforms; sales and sales transaction processing; cocktail experience; wine knowledge; and spirits experience.
• Able to communicate clearly, stay organized during busy periods, and work collaboratively with guests and team members.

Pay: $22.59 - $34.00 per hour
