Job Summary

Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
• Upsell menu items including cocktails, wines, spirits, and specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
• Assist with food handling, food preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns quickly
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or special requests with professionalism and enthusiasm

Experience

• Prior food service experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is highly desirable
• Experience with cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits service, and beverage presentation is a plus
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Previous experience as a host/hostess or cashier is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
