Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining or drinking experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Upsell menu items and drink specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales revenue
• Process cash and credit transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in sales transactions processing
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning bar areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling, preparation, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met in a fast-paced environment
• Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring a memorable experience from start to finish

Experience

• Prior food service experience in restaurants, bars, or nightclubs is highly preferred; fine dining experience is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is advantageous
• Strong cocktail skills with spirits experience; familiarity with wine knowledge enhances service quality
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours
• Proven ability to upsell menu items confidently while providing exceptional customer service
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience in guest services roles such as host/hostess or bussing enhances overall hospitality skills

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
