Job Overview

Magnasoft is looking for Architects – Forward Engineering with strong hands-on experience in Revit Architectural Modelling. The candidate will be responsible for interpreting architectural drawings, design information, and existing building data and converting them into accurate, detailed, and constructible Revit/BIM models.

The ideal candidate should have strong architectural fundamentals, expertise in Revit, BIM modelling, complex family creation, architectural detailing, and Forward Engineering/Design-to-BIM workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Forward Engineering / Design-to-BIM using architectural drawings and project information.
• Develop detailed Architectural BIM models in Autodesk Revit.
• Create and modify complex Revit families as per project requirements.
• Work on LOD 300–450 models.
• Create and manage Revit schedules, parameters, templates, and model data.
• Model walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, stairs, ceilings, faade elements, and other architectural components.
• Interpret architectural plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.
• Review existing models and drawings and identify modelling gaps and inconsistencies.
• Perform BIM model QA/QC for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Follow BIM standards and project-specific modelling guidelines.
• Independently manage complex modelling assignments and deliver within timelines.
• Coordinate with internal technical teams and incorporate design changes and review comments.
• Work as per US client requirements and project standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit Architecture.
• Experience in Forward Engineering / Design-to-BIM.
• Strong architectural modelling and detailing skills.
• Expertise in Revit Family creation and editing.
• Experience with LOD 300–450.
• Knowledge of Revit schedules, parameters, templates, and BIM standards.
• Strong understanding of architectural construction elements.
• Knowledge of BIM QA/QC and model coordination.
• Ability to independently handle complex modelling assignments.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on US-based architectural/BIM projects.
• Industrial, plant, commercial, or complex building projects.
• Heritage building modelling experience.
• Experience with Mosque/Masjid and Church buildings is highly preferred.
• Exposure to Scan-to-BIM, Point Cloud, Laser Scanning, or Existing Condition Modelling.
• International client/project experience.

Candidate Profile

Mid-Level: B.Arch with 3–5 years of relevant Revit Architectural Modelling experience.

Lead-Level: B.Arch with 5+ years of relevant Revit/Architectural BIM experience, capable of independently handling complex modelling assignments and guiding the technical team when required.
