Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
• Develop ETL/ELT solutions using PySpark, Spark SQL, and Databricks notebooks.
• Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks from multiple source systems.
• Implement Delta Lake architecture and medallion data models (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Integrate Azure Databricks with Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics, and SQL Databases.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, and aggregation for analytics and reporting.
• Optimize Spark jobs and cluster performance for large-scale data processing.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting of data workflows.
• Participate in architecture discussions and data platform modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders.
• Support production deployments and incident resolution.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices.
