Walk-in || Backend Developer & DevOps Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Backend Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs.
• Build REST APIs and integrate third-party services and databases.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and well-tested code.
• Debug and troubleshoot backend issues across development and production environments.
• Optimize application performance, database queries, and server resources.
• Work with frontend developers to integrate APIs and backend services.

Server & Infrastructure Management

• Set up, configure, and maintain Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage application servers, databases, storage, networking, DNS, SSL certificates, and domains.
• Monitor server health, resource utilization, logs, and application performance.
• Handle server security, backups, updates, access management, and recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot production server and infrastructure issues.

DevOps & Deployment

• Manage development, staging, and production environments.
• Deploy applications and backend services to production.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Automate repetitive deployment and infrastructure tasks.
• Manage Git-based development and release workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, rollback, and backup strategies.
• Minimize downtime and ensure reliable production releases.

AI-Assisted & Modern Development

• Use Claude Code and other AI coding assistants to accelerate development, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and testing.
• Apply vibe-coding / AI-assisted coding workflows while maintaining proper code quality, security, architecture, and testing standards.
• Review and validate AI-generated code before deploying it to production.
• Use AI tools effectively for rapid prototyping, automation, troubleshooting, and development workflows.
• Stay updated with modern AI-powered software development practices.

Preferred candidate profile

• Kubernetes experience.
• Terraform or Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Nginx/Apache configuration.
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with cloud databases and managed infrastructure.
• Knowledge of observability tools, application monitoring, and centralized logging.
• Experience designing scalable and highly available systems.
• Experience working with AI agents and AI-powered developer tools.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who can take ownership of a backend application from development to production. You should be comfortable writing backend code, managing servers, deploying applications, troubleshooting production issues, and automating infrastructure.

You should also be comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code to move quickly, while understanding that AI-generated code must be reviewed, tested, secured, and maintained properly.
