Walk-in || Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience should be 1 to 8 yrs

• Perform concept design, 3D modelling, detailing, and development of mechanical systems for medical equipment assembly lines and testing machines.
• Use Autodesk Inventor / Solidworks for mechanical design, assembly modelling, detailing, and engineering drawings.
• Apply strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and design principles to develop innovative and manufacturable solutions.
• Work on machine design, industrial automation, mechanisms, fixtures, and equipment development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure design feasibility, quality, and timely project execution.
• Manage project activities, engineering deliverables, timelines, and technical requirements.
• Lead and coordinate a team of engineers/designers and provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interact directly with clients to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and resolve design-related queries.
• Support design modifications, troubleshooting, testing, and implementation based on project and customer requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong academic record with good engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience in Autodesk Inventor/ Solidworks is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, machine design, 3D modelling, assemblies, and detailing.
• Keen interest in mechanical innovation, machine design, and industrial automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in project and team management will be an added advantage.
• Prior experience in the medical device / medical equipment industry will be preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Experience designing medical equipment, assembly lines, testing machines, or automated machinery.
• Experience handling projects from concept development through detailing and execution.
• Proven experience managing engineering teams and client interactions.
