Walk-in || Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed manufacturing and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Develop 3D models, concept designs, and detailed engineering designs using SolidWorks.
• Design Sheet Metal components, Weldments, Parts, and Assemblies.
• Generate engineering drawings with GD&T and manufacturing details.
• Understand customer requirements and develop design solutions accordingly.
• Coordinate and communicate with customers regarding design clarifications and project requirements.
• Select suitable raw materials based on design and application requirements.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure manufacturability of designs.
• Ensure drawings comply with engineering standards and project specifications.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of Sheet Metal, Weldments, Part Modeling, and Assembly Design.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering drawing standards.
• Knowledge of Conveyors, Jigs, and Fixtures will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory, Knowledge in CATIA is added advantage.
