Walk-in || Import Assistant / Import Associate

Job Description:-

We are looking for a Smart, Confident, Highly Organized and Responsible professional to manage and coordinate national & international procurement and import operations.

Role & responsibilities

Handle national and international import/procurement activities for EV components, lithium battery materials, electronics and other manufacturing materials.

Coordinate with overseas suppliers, Indian vendors, freight forwarders, CHA/customs brokers and transporters.

Prepare and verify import documents such as Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading/AWB, Certificate of Origin and Bill of Entry.

Track shipments from supplier dispatch to customs clearance and final delivery.

Coordinate with CHA for customs clearance, duty assessment and shipment release.

Check HS Codes, product descriptions, quantities and shipment details for documentation accuracy.

Coordinate with Accounts/Finance for customs duty, freight payments and vendor payments.

Maintain proper records of import orders, shipments, invoices, customs documents and vendor details.

Follow up with suppliers for timely dispatch and resolve shipment/documentation issues.

Prepare regular MIS reports for import, purchase and shipment status.

Ensure compliance with applicable customs, DGFT, GST and company procedures.

Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Warehouse, Accounts and Management to ensure uninterrupted material availability.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Industry Experience: EV, Automobile, Lithium Battery, Electronics or Manufacturing.
