Job Title: Trainee Coding
Location: Trichy

Work Mode: WFO

Shift Time: Day Shift

Experience: Fresher / 0-1 Years

Role and Responsibilities:

• Learn and perform medical coding for E&M, Surgery, and Pain Management cases under supervision.
• Ensure coding compliance with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Assist in reviewing coding documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Participate in training sessions to develop coding skills and understanding of healthcare regulations.
• Support coding teams in basic audits, quality checks, and data entry tasks.
• Stay updated on coding guidelines, anatomy, and physiology concepts through continuous learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Certifications:

• CPC Certification Mandatory (AAPC Certified or in-progress)

Educational Qualifications:

• Graduation in Health & Allied Health or Biology/Life Sciences would be an added advantage

Skills:

• Good knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology
• Strong understanding of ICD, CPT, and Modifiers
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Experience:

• Fresher or 0 1 year experience in medical coding or healthcare documentation is acceptable.
• Basic exposure to EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) is a plus.
