Role: Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with 5+ years of experience in Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain / E-commerce / Courier / Fulfillment to manage day-to-day operational activities, improve service performance, and ensure smooth and efficient shipment movement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day logistics and operational activities across assigned locations, hubs, warehouses, and delivery networks.
• Ensure smooth execution of pickup, transportation, sorting, delivery, RTO, NDR, and reverse logistics operations.
• Monitor daily operational performance and take timely corrective action to resolve service issues.
• Ensure shipments are processed and delivered within defined SLA and service-level commitments.
• Monitor operational KPIs including delivery performance, RTO, NDR, shipment delays, pending shipments, damages, and delivery failures.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve speed, efficiency, and service quality.
• Develop, implement, and maintain SOPs, operational processes, quality standards, and checklists.
• Lead, manage, and motivate operational teams to achieve daily and monthly targets.
• Allocate responsibilities, monitor team performance, and provide guidance and training to team members.
• Coordinate with Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Technology, Finance, and Management teams to resolve operational issues.
• Manage day-to-day coordination with courier partners, logistics partners, transportation providers, vendors, and other service providers.
• Monitor courier-partner performance and follow up on service issues, delays, capacity constraints, and escalations.
• Ensure timely resolution of shipment exceptions, customer complaints, escalations, and delivery-related issues.
• Maintain accurate MIS reports, operational dashboards, performance reports, and daily/weekly/monthly metrics.
• Analyze operational data and identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in setting up and improving operational processes for new cities, hubs, warehouses, and service areas.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, operational standards, and applicable requirements.
• Conduct regular reviews with operational teams and courier partners to improve service performance.
• Coordinate with senior management and provide regular updates on operational performance and critical issues.
• Travel to operational locations, hubs, warehouses, and partner locations as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in Operations / Logistics / Supply Chain / E-commerce / Courier / Fulfillment.
• Proven experience in operations management and team handling.
• Good understanding of the end-to-end e-commerce logistics and shipment lifecycle.
• Experience managing pickup, transportation, sorting, last-mile delivery, RTO, NDR, and reverse logistics.
• Experience monitoring and improving delivery performance, SLA, operational efficiency, and service quality.
• Experience handling multiple locations, hubs, warehouses, or regional operations will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SOPs, process improvement, SLA management, quality control, and operational reporting.
• Experience working with courier and logistics partners.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Good leadership and team-management capabilities.
• Good communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with customers, vendors, courier partners, internal teams, and management.
• Good knowledge of MIS, Excel, dashboards, operational reports, and performance metrics.
• Highly organized, process-oriented, and execution-focused.
• Willingness to travel as required.
