Walk-in || Project Head

Role & responsibilities

We are not looking for only a Site Engineer or Site Coordinator.

We require a COMPLETE SITE OWNER. The Project Head will be the single-point execution leader responsible for taking control of an assigned site and driving it from mobilisation through execution, testing, commissioning, documentation and final handover. The person should operate with: OWNERSHIP + SPEED + DISCIPLINE + INTEGRITY + CLIENT MANAGEMENT + SYSTEM COMPLIANCE The candidate must have the confidence to take decisions onsite without unnecessarily waiting for Head Office, while at the same time never bypassing company systems, safety requirements, contractual obligations or statutory/regulatory norms.

Preferred candidate profile

• Total professional experience: 7-8+ years • Project/Site Head experience: Minimum 3-4 years • Strong industrial project execution background • Should have worked across approximately 5-6 substantial project sites or more • Overall career exposure ideally across 8-9 projects/sites • Should have independently headed / led minimum 2 complete sites • Must have handled projects from execution through commissioning and handover • Experience dealing directly with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors • EPC / industrial engineering / mechanical / ventilation / ducting / piping / process-equipment project exposure will be strongly preferred. Candidates who have only worked as coordinators without independent site ownership should NOT be shortlisted.

A. Complete Site Ownership The Project Head must take end-to-end responsibility for the site. He should always know: • What is happening at site • What is pending • Who is responsible • What material is required • What manpower is required • What approvals are pending • What can delay the project • What needs escalation • What needs to be completed today, this week and this month There should be NO ambiguity regarding site responsibility.

B. Decision-Making Ability This is one of the most critical requirements. The candidate must be capable of taking appropriate onsite decisions concerning:• Manpower deployment • Work prioritisation • Contractor coordination • Material planning • Sequence of activities • Resource allocation • Client coordination • Execution bottlenecks • Recovery plans • Daily and weekly deadlines He should not unnecessarily wait for instructions for routine execution matters. "This is the target, this is the deadline and this is how we are going to achieve it."
