Role & responsibilities

QC (Quality Control) Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, finished products, and stability samples.
• Operate and maintain HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, dissolution, and other analytical instruments as applicable.
• Perform chemical, physical, and instrumental analysis as per approved specifications and SOPs.
• Prepare and maintain standard solutions, reagents, mobile phases, and analytical samples.
• Review analytical results and ensure compliance with specifications, STPs, and pharmacopeial requirements.
• Handle OOS, OOT, deviations, and laboratory investigations.
• Maintain proper GLP, GMP, and data-integrity practices.
• Perform instrument calibration, qualification, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain QC documentation, worksheets, logbooks, analytical reports, and COAs.
• Support method validation, method verification, and analytical method transfer.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of samples, chemicals, and reference standards.
• Follow all required safety procedures and laboratory practices.
