Walk-in || Snowflake Data Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in SQL and dbt (Data Build Tool) to design, develop, and optimize modern cloud-based data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, performance tuning, and building scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and dbt.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions in Snowflake.
• Build and manage ELT pipelines using dbt.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and data transformations.
• Create dimensional and data mart models using best practices.
• Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.
• Implement CI/CD processes for dbt projects.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to understand data requirements.
• Monitor data quality, troubleshooting, and performance issues.
• Develop reusable data models, macros, and documentation within dbt.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are followed.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse.
• Advanced hands-on expertise in SQL.
• Experience in dbt (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modeling.
• Knowledge of ELT/ETL concepts and implementation.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Dimensions, Facts).
• Experience with Git version control.
• Knowledge of CI/CD implementation for dbt deployments.
• Experience with query optimization and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
