Job Description

We are looking for experienced Snowflake + dbt Developers with strong expertise in cloud data warehousing, data transformation, SQL, and modern data engineering practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows using Snowflake and dbt.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable data solutions using Snowflake.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, tables, and stored procedures.
• Build and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt (Data Build Tool).
• Develop dbt models, incremental models, snapshots, tests, macros, and reusable transformations.
• Implement data quality checks and data validation using dbt testing frameworks.
• Work with dbt documentation, lineage, dependencies, and source/target configurations.
• Perform performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake workloads.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for integrating data from multiple sources.
• Implement data cleansing, transformation, aggregation, and business logic.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Architects, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot data pipeline failures, data quality issues, and performance problems.
• Follow best practices for data modeling, development, testing, and deployment.
• Use Git and CI/CD practices for managing and deploying data transformation code.

Required Skills

• 5–12 years of experience in Data Engineering / Data Warehousing.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong hands-on experience with dbt.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development.
• Good understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with dimensional data modeling – Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, facts and dimensions.
• Experience with dbt models, tests, snapshots, macros, sources, and incremental loads.
• Knowledge of Snowflake performance optimization, warehouses, stages, streams/tasks, and data loading.
• Experience with Git/version control.
• Good understanding of data quality, data governance, and data validation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.
• Experience with Python or any ETL/data integration tool is a plus.
