Walk-in || Solidworks Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design and develop machine components, sheet metal parts, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Prepare 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, flat patterns, and BOMs as per production requirements.
• Ensure designs are suitable for laser cutting, CNC bending, fabrication, machining, and assembly.
• Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, and Engineering teams to resolve design issues and improve quality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Mechanical Design with hands-on experience in SolidWorks.
• Strong knowledge of SolidWorks Part, Assembly, Drawing & Sheet Metal modules.
• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, CNC bending, welding, bend allowance and K-factor.
• Knowledge of mechanical drawings, GD&T, tolerances, BOM and manufacturing processes; experience in machine design/manufacturing industry preferred.
