Walk-in || Surgery Coder

We are seeking an experienced Surgery Medical Coder with 3 to 7 years of expertise in surgical coding processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately reviewing operative reports, assigning appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring coding compliance, and supporting revenue cycle management activities. The candidate should possess strong knowledge of coding guidelines, payer regulations, and surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze operative notes, physician documentation, and medical records to assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
• Code surgical procedures across multiple specialties while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements.
• Identify and resolve coding edits, denials, and reimbursement issues related to surgical claims.
• Experience in coding specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Cardiovascular Surgery, Gastroenterology
