Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Walking Floor Driver to join our dynamic logistics team! Responsibilities

• Safely operate walking floor trailers equipped with flatbed systems to transport bulk materials across designated routes
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using flatbed and commercial driving techniques, ensuring proper securing of loads
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle, trailer, and equipment to guarantee safety compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each shipment handled
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit
• Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to promote a secure working environment
• Assist with routine maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance throughout shifts

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial driver, delivery driver, or similar role involving flatbed or walking floor trailers
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for flatbed or specialized hauling
• Demonstrated ability to operate flatbed trucks and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards, and best practices in freight handling
• Prior experience with delivery operations involving walking floor trailers is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and efficiency
