Walking Track Construction

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction and maintenance of walking tracks

• Perform manual labour tasks including heavy lifting

• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively (tools supplied)

• Work as part of a team in outdoor and sometimes remote locations

• Set up and pack down work sites, including camping when required

• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Good level of physical fitness and ability to perform heavy manual work
• Enjoyment of outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Willingness to camp overnight when required
• Reliable, hardworking and able to follow instructions
• Experience in labouring, construction, or trade work is an advantage but not essential
