Wall painter

Job Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Wash, scrape, sand, and fill cracks, holes, and joints with putty or plaster to make walls smooth.
• Protection: Cover floors, furniture, fixtures, and trim with drop cloths or tape to prevent paint splatters.
• Priming and Painting: Apply primers, sealers, paints, and stains using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Color Mixing: Mix and match colors to meet specific client requests or design orders.
• Site Cleanup: Clean and store tools, clear away debris, and restore the work area to its original state.
• Safety Adherence: Follow safety rules, wear protective gear, and handle hazardous chemical fumes properly.

Job Requirements

• Experience: Proven work experience as a painter or decorator.
• Skillset: Knowledge of painting materials, wall putty, and surface coating techniques.
• Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift heavy paint buckets.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in cutting-in edges and creating smooth, even finishes.

Pay: From AED1,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
