Walmart Construction Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

Project Managers are responsible for the overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of construction projects from initial budget through project closeout. The main role of the project manager is to be the lead role on the project interfacing with the client, field operations, and support staff to deliver successful projects. Our project managers typically handle multiple projects across differing business markets and segments at one time. The position comes with a potential for career growth. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

• Developing and implementing project start up procedures
• Developing and implementing project schedules
• Procurement and contracting of vendors and subcontractors
• Coordinates internal resources
• Utilize software programs and templates to process, distribute and track all project documentation
• Manage jobs in progress including subcontractor coordination, self-perform trades, conflict resolution, documentation and ensuring quality and safety on every job
• Mange project costs through the ongoing evaluation of labor, material and equipment; continue to forecast and analyze construction costs, risks and profits through project completion and provide monthly status reports to Sr. Leadership
• Capable of managing projects up to $50 million in size

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

• Interact with clients and potential clients to identify and pursue potential work
• Prepare and participate in client presentations and project interviews
• Maintain clients and secure new business

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• B.S. in Construction Management or related technical area
• 7-10 years of experience
• Walmart Construction Experience Preferred
