Wanted Utility Manager for Leading Textile Industry -Erode

The candidate should have extensive experience in handling Transformers, DG Sets (Generators), Solar Power Systems, Electrical Distribution Networks, Compressors, Water Management Systems, and Energy Conservation Initiatives

Key ResponsibilitiesPower & Electrical Utilities

• Manage operation and maintenance of HT/LT electrical systems.
• Oversee transformers, switchyards, substations, panels, and power distribution systems.
• Ensure reliable operation of DG generators and backup power systems.
• Monitor power quality and minimize downtime.

Solar Power Management

• Handle solar power plant operations and maintenance.
• Monitor solar generation efficiency and performance.
• Coordinate with vendors for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Analyze solar energy utilization and savings.

Energy Management

• Identify and implement energy-saving projects.
• Monitor plant energy consumption and utility costs.
• Conduct energy audits and recommend improvement initiatives.
• Drive sustainability and renewable energy projects.

Utility Operations

• Manage compressors, water pumps, cooling systems, and other utility equipment.
• Ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities to production departments.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and monitor execution.

Team Management

• Lead utility engineers, electricians, and maintenance teams.
• Allocate work and monitor performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate inspections by electrical authorities and utility providers.
• Maintain all utility-related records and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• BE / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Additional certification in Energy Management will be an advantage.

Experience Requirements

• 10 to 20 years of experience in utility operations within the textile or manufacturing industry.
