Ward Clerk

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate inpatient billing by applying correct charges (correct patient, code, and quantity).
• Handle patient money with care, ensuring no loss or mishandling.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

Inpatient Charges:

• Enter daily inpatient charges, including ward items, ambulance, doctor consultation, and procedures.
• Ensure all charges are updated before patient discharge.

Prepare Discharge Documents:

• Compile and organize documents into billing, medical records, and insurance folders.
• Photocopy reports for insurance cases and prepare discharge slips.
• Ensure timely document preparation and dispatch via the porter app.

Payments:

• Collect payments or deposits for discharges and any top-up deposits needed for procedures.

Refunds:

• Handle refund procedures for overpaid deposits and assist patients in completing refund forms.

Appointments:

• Enter correct appointment details in the system and provide accurate appointment cards.

WhatsApp Group Information:

• Stay updated and alert for all information shared in the WhatsApp group.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
