About the role

Asialink Cargo & Packing Agency Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Warehouse Admin to join our team in the Kuching Division, (Sejingkat ) Sarawak. This is a full-time position based on-site at our warehouse facility. As Warehouse Admin, you will be the backbone of our warehousing operations, providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day warehouse activities. This role is strategically important to our business, as accurate record-keeping, inventory management, and administrative coordination directly impact our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date warehouse records, including inventory logs, stock movements, and storage documentation
• Processing inbound and outbound shipment documentation, ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly and filed appropriately
• Coordinating with warehouse staff to track inventory levels and assist with stock takes and audits
• Preparing and issuing warehouse reports, picking lists, and shipping manifests
• Managing warehouse correspondence and communications with internal teams, customers, and logistics partners
• Updating warehouse management systems and databases with accurate information regarding goods receipt, storage, and dispatch
• Assisting with the organisation and labelling of goods to ensure efficient storage and retrieval
• Supporting the warehouse manager with administrative tasks and operational improvements
• Ensuring compliance with warehouse safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organised work environment
• Handling queries and resolving discrepancies in shipments and inventory records

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification; further education in business administration or logistics is advantageous
• Proven experience working in a warehouse, storage facility, or distribution centre environment
• Strong proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with team members and external contacts
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles and warehousing operations
• Ability to work independently whilst collaborating well with warehouse and logistics teams
• Physical capability to work in a warehouse environment and willingness to support hands-on warehouse activities when required
• Familiarity with import/export documentation and compliance procedures is desirable
• Proficiency in both English and Malay is preferred; additional language skills are a bonus
