We combine the heart of a local hardware store with the strength of a national distribution network. We supply safety equipment, workwear, uniforms, welding, tools and MRO products to businesses across Australia.
More than 700 people form ATOM, and our team is our greatest asset. We're built on a strong service culture and a values-driven approach, guided by a simple idea: we look after the little things for each other, so the little things get done for our customers.

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a full-time, permanent Warehouse Administrator to join the team in our flagship Kewdale Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Admin and Inventory Manager, you will provide accurate, timely and efficient administrative support to our warehouse operations and Leadership Team. This role suits a highly organised self-starter with strong attention to detail, clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving, safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and timely administrative support to warehouse operations and the Leadership Team
- Complete data entry, system transactions and warehouse documentation accurately and on time
- Coordinate inbound bookings and associated administration for suppliers, couriers and freight providers
- Monitor and manage operational emails and queries, ensuring requests are actioned, resolved or escalated promptly
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on bookings, deliveries, returns and discrepancies
- Coordinate customer and supplier returns, ensuring records and supporting documentation are complete
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical records for operational, compliance and audit purposes
- Assist with investigating administrative errors and operational discrepancies, including supporting root cause analysis (RCA)
- Prepare reports and operational information for the Leadership Team
- Coordinate site consumables, maintaining stock levels and arranging replenishment
- Contribute to a positive safety culture and identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and ways of working
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong administrative, data entry and record-keeping skills with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, and the ability to pick up new business systems
- Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and work autonomously
- Sound problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately
- A commitment to workplace safety, compliance and continuous improvement
- Previous experience in warehouse administration, logistics or distribution (desirable)
- Experience with WMS, ERP or similar systems, and an understanding of receivals, dispatch, inventory, freight and returns (desirable)
