When you join Brakes you’ll become part of a top UK food business. You’ll also become part of Sysco GB – the world's leading foodservice company. We’re growing across the country and aiming to be the absolute best in our industry. So join us in Reading as a Warehouse Administrator and take your career to the next level.
A satisfying role
As a Warehouse Administrator, it’ll be your organisational skills and administrative support that helps to keep the warehouse moving. Making a real difference to all kinds of teams, you’ll be the key link between our warehouse operatives and our systems – making sure customer orders are correctly sent for picking, stock is replenished, depot teams are kept informed, invoices are processed, and paperwork is accurate. Deadlines are tight, but it’s the chance to thrive in a role where no two days are the same.
What you bring to the mix
A naturally organised person who prides themselves on their attention to detail, you have everything it takes to succeed:
significant experience using software including Microsoft Office and SAP (or other WMS)
the ability to prioritise work with minimal supervision
problem-solving skills and the confidence to communicate any issues
the ability to build relationships with all kinds of people
ideally, experience in a similar warehouse admin role – but this isn’t essential.
Bags of benefits
We take care of our people. On our team, you’ll be able to take your pick from everything from a pension scheme and generous holiday to family-friendly flexibility and ongoing training. You’ll get fantastic discounts on our delicious products too.
