Warehouse All-Rounder / High Reach Forklift Operator

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Pay Rate: $35–$47 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse All-Rounder / High Reach Forklift Operator to join a busy and growing warehouse and production environment.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys variety and can confidently move between forklift operations, picking and packing, receiving, dispatch and general warehouse duties.

The successful candidate will initially commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position for the right person based on reliability, performance and overall suitability.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day warehouse operation, including:

• Picking and packing customer and production orders accurately
• Receiving and checking incoming stock
• Safely loading and unloading trucks
• Operating high reach and counterbalance forklifts
• Putting stock away into designated warehouse locations
• Preparing and checking outgoing orders for dispatch
• Assisting with stock receipting and inventory movements
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records and documentation
• Supporting general warehouse housekeeping and organisation
• Assisting other areas of the operation, including production, when required
• Following all workplace health, safety and quality procedures
• Working in accordance with site-specific PPE and hygiene requirements

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
• Demonstrated pick and pack experience
• A current and valid forklift licence
• Strong experience operating high reach forklifts
• Experience operating counterbalance forklifts
• Previous experience with receiving and receipting stock
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions
• An understanding of dangerous goods / hazardous chemicals
• The ability to safely perform manual handling and lift up to 25kg
• A reliable and dependable approach to work
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to assist across warehouse and production activities

Working Environment

This is a busy operational environment where attention to detail, safety and cleanliness are extremely important.

The role may involve exposure to strong or occasionally unpleasant odours, so applicants must be comfortable working in this type of environment.

Due to the nature of the workplace, strict PPE requirements apply. This may include:

• Hair nets
• Beard nets where applicable
• Safety glasses / eye protection
• Protective clothing
• Respiratory protection where required
• Other site-specific PPE

• Valid Australian working rights
• A current forklift licence
• Demonstrated high reach forklift experience
