Warehouse and Bindery Operator

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious individual to join an established team.

This role combines warehouse duties with operating equipment used to finish and prepare printed materials.

It is a varied role suited to someone who is flexible, practical and confident carrying out warehouse duties and operating equipment whilst supporting wider site operations.

Whilst experience would be an advantage, it is not essential. We welcome applications from enthusiastic candidates who are willing to learn, with training provided.

Main duties and responsibilities

Warehouse duties

• Receiving, checking and storing deliveries.
• Picking and packing customer orders.
• Delivering customer orders
• Loading and unloading goods.
• Moving stock using pallet trucks or forklifts*
• Maintaining stock records and keeping the warehouse tidy and safe.

*Due to our insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 25 or over to operate the forklift.

Bindery duties

• Operating machinery to cut, fold, stitch, glue and bind printed materials.
• Finishing books, brochures, leaflets and other printed products.
• Checking finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Packing completed print jobs for delivery.
• Cleaning and maintaining machinery and following health and safety procedures.

Skills required

• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Practical skills and confidence operating machinery.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.
• Reliability and willingness to learn.

Hours: 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday – Friday, with half hour lunch break between 1:00pm – 2:00pm

Pay: £26,437.00-£27,710.00 per year
