Warehouse and Dispatch Assistant

About the role

Jaedon is looking for a reliable, organised person to take responsibility for the day-to-day picking, packing and dispatch of our products. This is a permanent, full-time, on-site position in a small manufacturing team. Our customers and production team rely on dispatch being staffed every day, so we are specifically looking for someone with a strong employment history who takes pride in turning up, being on time and being someone others can depend on.

Key responsibilities

• Picking, packing, labelling and preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Making sure the correct products and quantities go to the correct customer
• Receiving incoming goods and checking them against packing slips
• Keeping stock and warehouse locations organised and accurate
• Maintaining a clean, orderly and safe dispatch area
• Helping with stocktakes and inventory control
• Supporting production when required
• Taking ownership of getting the day's dispatch completed accurately and on time

About you

• Have a demonstrated history of being reliable and punctual at work
• Are looking for a stable, permanent job rather than something temporary
• Take responsibility for your work without needing to be constantly supervised
• Are naturally organised and notice when something isn't right
• Can follow instructions accurately
• Are physically fit and comfortable being on your feet and regularly lifting boxes
• Like keeping your workspace clean and organised
• Are willing to help wherever needed when the team is busy
• Have good basic communication and numeracy skills
• Take pride in doing even simple jobs properly
