  • Ensure the 3PL warehouse complies with all required internal audit standards, including Human Rights audits; track findings and drive timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.

  • Drive productivity improvement initiatives with the 3PL, including throughput, labour efficiency and cost-to-serve, tracked through agreed KPIs and regular business reviews.

  • Build and lead the sustainability agenda for warehouse operations (e.g. packaging waste reduction, energy efficiency, environmentally responsible disposal), in partnership with the 3PL and relevant stakeholders.

  • Monitor and reduce product/inventory damage across warehousing and handling activities; lead root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.

  • Develop, review and update warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, ensuring the 3PL operates in line with the latest requirements.

  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service and Logistics teams on the end-to-end operations flow - from order to delivery - to proactively identify risks and ensure no business impact.

  • Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews with the 3PL, escalating and resolving service or compliance gaps.

  • Support investigations into customer complaints related to warehouse operations, ensuring root causes are identified and resolved with the 3PL.

  • Ensure well-ordered documentation for damage reports, disposition authorization and audit purposes to maintain full traceability.

  • Manage warehouse-related costs and support budgeting/accrual processes in line with business plans.
