Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor(倉配主管)

About the role

Hop Hing Food Supply Chain (HK) Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse and Distribution Supervisor to join our operations team in Yuen Long. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse and distribution center. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily warehouse activities, manage team members, and ensure that all operations meet our high standards of safety, quality and customer service. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity of our food supply chain and supporting the growth of our business across Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff on a daily basis, including scheduling, training, performance monitoring and discipline as required
• Oversee all receiving, storage, picking, packing and despatch operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control procedures to maintain accurate records
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food safety regulations throughout the warehouse
• Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs when necessary
• Liaise with logistics providers and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
• Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements to increase productivity
• Prepare and maintain warehouse reports and documentation
• Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues related to orders or deliveries
• Support management with budget planning and cost control initiatives

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse or distribution experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics processes
• Proven ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
• Excellent organisational and planning skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems and basic computer skills
• Sound understanding of health, safety and food safety regulations
• Strong communication skills in both English and Cantonese (written and spoken)
• Physical fitness and ability to perform occasional manual tasks
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
• Experience in the food or FMCG industry is highly desirable
• Valid Hong Kong driving licence is an advantage
