Warehouse & Logistics Assistant

Responsibilities

• Receive, check, and store incoming raw materials, components, packaging materials, and other supplies.
• Arrange and organise warehouse inventory to ensure proper storage, stock identification, and efficient space utilisation.
• Prepare and issue materials to the Production Department according to production requirements.
• Receive, inspect, label, and properly store raw materials and finished goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare goods for delivery or collection.
• Coordinate deliveries, collections, loading, and unloading activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for stock receipts, issues, returns, and transfers.
• Assist with regular stock counts and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages.
• Prepare and maintain delivery orders, packing lists, and other warehouse documentation.
• Operate an electric stacker to load, unload, move, lift, and stack raw materials and finished goods safely, subject to proper training and company authorisation.
• Conduct pre-use equipment checks and report any equipment defects or unsafe conditions.
• Comply with workplace safety requirements and company procedures when operating warehouse equipment and handling materials.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous warehouse experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, is an advantage.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Familiarity with inventory control, warehouse documentation is an advantage.
• Trained and authorised by the company to operate an electric stacker, in accordance with applicable safety requirements.
• Able to perform physical warehouse duties, including lifting and moving goods when required.
• Responsible, organised, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Willing to support daily warehouse operations and coordinate with production and other departments.
