Warehouse & Logistics Associate

About the role

A Warehouse & Logistics Associate performs the hands-on floor operations required to receive, store, and ship goods. They combine physical labour with basic data entry to keep the warehouse organized and orders moving on time.

Key responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments from delivery trucks, containers, or couriers safely
• Check incoming goods for visible damage, defects, or missing items
• Match physical delivery quantities against packing slips, invoices, or purchase orders
• Move verified stock to designated storage locations or racking systems manually or using equipment
• Retrieve items from storage locations accurately using picking lists or scanners
• Pack orders securely and accurately according to packing guidelines to prevent rejection by carrier or transit/transport damage
• Apply accurate shipping labels
• Move packed orders to the loading dock area for carrier pick-up
• Update inventory statuses, batch numbers, or stock movements using SAP
• Participate in regular cycle counts and annual physical stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy

About you

• Minimum of a Secondary School Education, GCE 'N' Level, or a NITEC from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE)
• Valid Forklift Operator License
• Entry-level (0 to 1 year) industry experience
• Ability to use handheld RF scanners to register item barcodes, confirm location drops, and track pick quantities
• Comfort with opening basic system windows, printing shipping labels, and checking simple stock lists
• Safe operation of basic manual and electric equipment like pallet jack, stackers, reach truck, forklift and wrapping machines
• Ability to perform repetitive packing or sorting tasks quickly while keeping errors to a minimum
• Ability to follow exact instructions from supervisors and work closely with fellow associates
