  • Resolve discrepancies, damages, or shortages with vendors and internal purchasing teams
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with state and federal alcohol beverage regulations for incoming product

Route Planning & Outbound Logistics

  • Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency, minimize fuel costs, and meet customer delivery windows
  • Coordinate with dispatch and delivery drivers to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries to retail and on-premise accounts
  • Monitor fleet vehicle maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with DOT regulations where applicable
  • Troubleshoot delivery issues, reroute as needed, and communicate proactively with sales and customer service teams

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all warehouse and distribution activities comply with state ATC (Alcohol and Tobacco Commission) regulations, licensing requirements, and excise tax reporting
  • Maintain required documentation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, including proper equipment operation (forklifts, pickers, pallet jacks) and hazard prevention
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions as needed

Administrative & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and/or ERP software to track inventory, orders, and shipments
  • Prepare and analyze operational reports (fill rates, on-time delivery, labor costs, inventory accuracy)
  • Collaborate with sales, purchasing, and customer service teams to align warehouse operations with business needs
  • Manage relationships with third-party carriers, vendors, and service providers as needed
