Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Purchasing Supervisor to oversee purchasing, inventory, and warehouse operations, preferably with experience in the FDAS (Fire Detection and Alarm System) industry. The successful candidate will ensure timely procurement of materials, proper inventory control, and efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse and purchasing operations.
• Handle sourcing, canvassing, quotation comparison, and preparation of Purchase Orders.
• Coordinate with local and international suppliers regarding pricing, availability, delivery, and payment terms.
• Purchase FDAS materials, equipment, devices, and related supplies based on project and operational requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of critical FDAS materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
• Supervise receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and delivery of materials.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of warehouse items.
• Monitor stock movement and identify slow-moving, excess, and obsolete items.
• Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Sales, and Accounting teams regarding material requirements.
• Evaluate and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Prepare purchasing, inventory, and warehouse reports for management.
• Supervise warehouse staff and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper warehouse safety, cleanliness, and security.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Purchasing.
• At least 3 years of experience or relevant background in FDAS (Fire Detection and Alarm System) is preferred.
• Experience handling FDAS materials, equipment, and components is an advantage.
• Experience in warehouse and inventory management.
• Strong supplier sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing skills.
• Good knowledge of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to supervise a team and work under pressure.
• Willing to work in San Juan City, Metro Manila.
