Warehouse and Purchasing Supervisor

Job Purpose

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Warehouse and Purchasing Supervisor to manage daily warehouse operations, inventory accuracy and making purchasing decisions. This role is responsible for stock acceptance, storage, and documentation, as well as monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with the Purchasing manager for timely replenishment while reviewing current and upcoming promotions. Serving as a key link between warehouse operations and purchasing, this role ensures efficiency, accuracy, and accountability in stock management and purchasing.

Key Responsibility

1. Receive, verify, and record incoming and returned stock.

2. Maintain and update bin cards and inventory records.

3. Organize and arrange stock for efficient storage and retrieval.

4. Conduct regular stock takes and resolve discrepancies.

5. Fulfill production and retail orders.

6. Monitor stock levels and raise purchase requisitions when needed based on upcoming production and retail fulfillment.

7. Handle product defects, returns, and wastage reporting.

8. Ensure proper documentation, including supplier QC forms.

9. Ensure all product are following FIFO and up to standard before releasing for production or fulfillment use

10. Warehouse hygiene and cleanliness

Accountability

1. Accurate and timely stock recording.

2. Proper stock arrangement and order fulfillment while space budgeting before stock ordering.

3. Effective coordination with Purchasing for replenishment.

4. Compliance with warehouse and inventory control standards.

5. All product that warehouse received must be up to standard.

6. Lead the team to manage warehouse arrangement.

Requirements

1. Minimum 1 year experience in a production , manufacturing or f&b field.

2. Have understanding of production planning, purchasing planning and control techniques.

3. Strong leadership, drive for results, detail oriented and problem-solving skills are essential.

4. Ability to work fast and collaboratively in a team environment.5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Familiar and able to work that requires daily qc documentation .

6. Have high standard judgement on product quality.

7. Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

8. Able to OT beyond normal working hours when needed.

Pay: RM2,700.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
