- Oversee fleet operations, including scheduling routine service, repairs, annual inspections, and registration compliance.
- Engage and supervise volunteers for warehouse upkeep and special projects to maximize resources.
- Collaborate with Build Team members to identify and procure necessary tools and equipment.
Key Responsibility Area: Procurement and Materials Management
- Leverage bulk purchasing strategies to maintain adequate stock of frequently used construction materials and personal protective equipment (PPE) for ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers to organize and store project-specific materials and equipment (e.g., cabinets, windows, appliances) for timely deployment.
- Partner with carpenters to ensure daily-use materials and tools are readily available and properly organized.
- Perform regular inventory reconciliations to ensure accuracy between physical stock and the Sortly inventory management system.
Education, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- 2 years of experience working in a relevant work setting such as facilities management, residential construction, or maintenance
- Hands-on construction experience and skill in a variety of repair and maintenance tasks are a plus, but knowledge of materials is required
- Proficiency with the operation and maintenance of power tools, hand tools, equipment, and vehicles
