Warehouse & Yard Associate

Welcome to the locally owned and operated Baltimore franchise of Superior Fence & Rail! We're a small, tight-knit team where you'll know everyone by name and your manager works alongside you in the yard every day.

This is real work. You'll be outdoors in all four seasons, lifting fence panels, posts, and hardware, and you'll be on your feet most of the day. In return, you get steady year-round hours, a predictable schedule, reliable pay, and a team that treats warehouse staff as critical to the business - because you are.

Pay: $18 - $24 per hour (based on ability; higher pay level requires management or lead experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time, year-round

✅ WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Pull and stage materials for daily fence installation jobs
• Label and organize job bundles so crews can load quickly and accurately
• Receive and inspect deliveries - verify counts, check for damage, help unload
• Return and restock unused materials with care and accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and yard every day
• Work directly with your supervisor to ensure jobs are complete and error-free
• Assist in material preparation - cutting, sorting, bundling hardware, etc.
• Occasionally deliver extra materials to job sites in a company truck (this is why we ask for a clean driving record)

✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Reliability and punctuality. We start at 6:30 AM, and crews depend on you being on time.
• Comfort working outdoors in Maryland weather (hot, cold, rain)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stay on your feet for a full shift
• Detail-oriented mindset. We stage hundreds of items per day and accuracy matters.
• Forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Valid driver's license with a clean record. Must pass eligibility check
• Team player attitude

Experience that helps but isn't required: warehouse, yard, construction, fencing, carpentry, framing, landscaping, moving, retail stocking, or military logistics. If you've worked hard with your hands, we want to talk to you.

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus but not required.

✅WHAT YOU'LL GET

• A great working environment with supportive teammates
• Career growth opportunities in warehouse, installation, operations, or sales
• On-the-job training with clear daily expectations and performance standards
• The satisfaction of knowing your work directly supports successful customer installations
