About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join the Kaimay Trading Pte Ltd team in the Jurong East West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will support the day-to-day activities of our distribution centre, contributing to the efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods. This role is essential to maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring customer satisfaction through accurate and timely warehouse operations.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, checking, and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse system
• Organising and storing items in designated locations, ensuring proper inventory management and accessibility
• Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications and dispatch instructions
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trolleys safely and efficiently
• Conducting regular stock counts and reconciling inventory records to maintain accuracy
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles whilst ensuring goods are secured and protected
• Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines
• Reporting any discrepancies, damage, or safety hazards to management immediately

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar logistics environment
• Physical fitness and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and tracking inventory
• Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks (or willingness to obtain certification)
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with standard operating procedures
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards work
• Relevant certifications such as forklift operation or dangerous goods handling are advantageous
