About the role
This is a Warehouse Assistant role within the manufacturing industry, responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming goods and materials, as well as picking, packing, and dispatching orders to customers.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming goods and materials
- Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch orders to customers
- Maintain detailed inventory records and conduct cycle counts
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
- Assist with the organisation and upkeep of the warehouse
- Support the wider logistics team as required
About you
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Assistant or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with warehousing, storage and distribution processes and procedures
- Forklift licence and experience operating material handling equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work well under pressure
- Work timing: 8am - 5.48 pm or 8pm - 5.48am
