Warehouse Assistant

• Receive, inspect, sort, and store fresh and frozen seafood products.

• Perform loading and unloading of seafood shipments, including air-flown and sea-freight cargo.

• Handle seafood products in cold room and freezer environments while complying with food safety standards.

• Prepare customer orders, picking, packing, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently.

• Carry out seafood processing activities, including cleaning, cutting, portioning, and repacking seafood products when required.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of warehouse, processing areas, equipment, and storage facilities.

• Ensure proper handling of products to maintain freshness and quality.

• Support warehouse operations during peak periods and special shipments.

Working Hours

The nature of the seafood industry requires flexibility in working hours. Candidates must be willing to work on rotating schedules, including:

• Early morning shifts starting as early as 4:30 AM to support air-flown seafood arrivals.
• Midnight unloading operations between 12:00 AM and 4:00 AM when required.
• Overtime, weekends, and public holidays as operational needs dictate.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM Holder.
• Capable of lifting and moving heavy loads.
• Comfortable working in cold room and freezer environments.
• Must not be afraid of handling raw seafood, including exposure to seafood odour, fish blood, scales, and processing waste.
• Experience in warehouse, seafood handling, cutting, filleting, or processing is an advantage.
• Responsible, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
