About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join our team at E-CONTRACT PTE. LTD. in the West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and organisation of our warehouse operations. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting the smooth flow of goods through our distribution centre, contributing directly to our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to develop practical warehouse skills whilst working as part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, checking and logging incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system
• Organising and storing items in designated locations, ensuring proper labelling and inventory accuracy
• Picking and packing orders according to specifications and dispatch instructions
• Loading and unloading goods from vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse floor and storage areas
• Conducting regular stock checks and reporting discrepancies to supervisors
• Operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, trolleys and other handling tools safely
• Assisting with inventory audits and stock take activities
• Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily operational targets and deadlines
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar fast-paced logistics environment is desirable
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, bending and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy in inventory management
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work well as part of a team and follow instructions from supervisors
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage
• Valid driving licence or reliable transport to reach the West Region location
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in warehouse operations
