About the role
This is a warehouse operations role involving receiving, storage, picking, and packing of goods. You will manage incoming deliveries, maintain inventory records, prepare orders for dispatch, and operate warehouse equipment while ensuring safety and organization standards are met.
Key responsibilities
- Unload deliveries from trucks and other vehicles
- Check the quantity and quality of incoming items
- Sort and organize received goods
- Store items in designated locations within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Pick items from shelves according to order lists
- Pack items securely for shipment
- Prepare orders for dispatch
- Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (may require certification)
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
