Warehouse Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Assistant to join the team at D & G Marketing Pte. Ltd. in the East Region. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a dynamic warehousing and distribution operation. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, supporting the efficient movement of goods, and maintaining the high standards of organisation and safety that are essential to our business success. This role is based on-site at our East office, where you will work alongside a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system

• Picking, packing and preparing items for dispatch to customers with accuracy and efficiency

• Organizing and storing items in appropriate locations, ensuring proper labelling and easy accessibility

• Conducting regular stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accurate records

• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and securely using appropriate equipment and techniques

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations

• Assisting with general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping duties

• Supporting the warehouse team in meeting daily targets and operational objectives

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying goods

• Attention to detail and accuracy when receiving, packing and recording goods

• Good organizational and time management skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking direction from supervisors

• Reliability and a positive attitude towards work

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems would be advantageous

• Required to understand and communicate in Chinese to effectively communicate with the team

• Basic English is acceptable
